Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

A signature drive has been under way to put an initiative on the November ballot in Mendocino County that will preserve our county's clean drinking water by banning fracking. Liz Rog of Decorah Iowa, Winneshiek County and Geri Morisky of Fort Bragg speak about their attempts to stop fracking--in Decorah it is frac sand mining.
Also we hear a recording of speakers David Braun, grassroots caoordinator of the films, Gasland and Gasland 11 and Shannon Biggs, Director of Community Rights program of Global Exchange speaking at Town Hall in Fort Bragg. --- both dynamic speakers!
We begin by listening to sisters Larissa and Celena from their CD "Frequencies of the Motherland" "LISTEN"
