We focus primarily on Georgia. We talk with Jodi Blumenfeld, who has worked on archaeological digs in Georgia, about the country, its history, culture, and economic situation. Bob and Andrew discuss how the situation in Georgia is being framed in coverage, and alternative ways of thinking and talking about what is happening. We finish with a brief global overview, including a tribute to Mahmoud Darwish (including a recitation, in Arabic), and some closing salutations in Georgian.
