Notes: Women are 51 percent of the population, but that slim majority hasn't quite given them the edge in securing equal rights and protections under the Constitution. And Monroe Park was once a centerpiece for the city of Richmond, but today it's a home to many of the city's homeless -- and it's also becoming a battleground over gentrification efforts and the rights and dignity of the city's disadvantaged.
