Theresa Snow founded Salvations Farms, a gleaning program that donated the food to food pantries. The Vermont Food Bank has adopted the program and taken it state-wide.

Tom Szaky, author of Revolution in a Bottle, describes how he started selling worm poop in reused plastic bottles and went on to build TerraCycle, a national company that sells products made from garbage. Szaky also explains why he'd rather sell his products through big-box stores than locally owned businesses. (Originally aired June 22; remastered for broadcast Aug. 31)
Equal Time Productions. Originally broadcast on WDEV AM&FM, Waterbury and Montpelier, Vermont. Produced by Artie Levign.
