Today, I begin with recalling Mohammad bin Salman's triumphal visit to the US in April where he met and was photographed with Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, Michael Bloomberg, Jeff Bezos, James Mattis, and Christiane Lagarde of the World Bank and how I said on my program at the time, “Never has American hypocrisy been so shamelessly displayed.”

I note the widespread disgust in Congress over the disappearance and likely killing of Khashoggi compared to the relative indifference of the killing of thousands of Yeminis on bin Salman's orders.

I mention, regarding Pompeo's chummy trip to meet bin Salman and discuss the Khashoggi case, that his first as when appointed CIA chief was to visit and embrace the Saudis.

I then bring up the forthcoming “Davos in the Desert” investors conference which I had not heard of and mention the names of the international media that had pulled out as sponsors.

I then quote a Ha'aretz headline and Israeli political spokespeople on how the Khashoggi killing is a setback for Israel and that the US-Saudi alliance must be maintained and note the US press has made no mention of the Israeli reaction.

I then quote the Israel Lobby's House Gentile, Prof. Walter Russell Mead, writing in the WSJ how the “horror” of what happened to Khashoggi must not be allowed to damage US-KSA relations.

I then report on Sheldon Adelson's record contributions to Republicans and suggest that his record as an Israel Firster disqualifies him, as a foreign agent from participating in US elections.
