In this episode of Back in the USSR I talk about my recently completed book "Proletarian God: Building the Socialist Future". Capitalism treats working class people as expendable commodities to be used and abused to produce profit for a tiny ruling class that then lays claim to the fruits of civilization. Working class people are taught to view themselves as weak and replacable, when in fact they are the creators of human civilization, the creators of everything that makes civilization possible, the creators of all value, all technology, and all wealth. Together, working class people are the gods of civilization and together we are unstoppable. Working people united are stronger than anything our exploiters can throw at us. Together we can move mountains and turn worlds upside down. This is our power. This is who we are. The Proletarian God.
