Phil comments on the interview with Joan Baxter, and other recent interviews and news articles, including the interview with Stephen Kimber, and a Globe and Mail article about Paul Kagame.

Joan Baxter, at joanbaxter.ca, posted an essay about "Sir" Bob Gildof and Bono, and the arrogant and money driven "charity work" that fills their pockets.

In this weekend's Globe and Mail, Geoffrey York writes that Quebec priests were most likely murdered by soldiers loyal to Paul Kagame. The Canadian government is very quiet so as not to "offend" Rwandan President Kagame.
New books on the ICRT:

1. Enduring Lies: The Rwanda Genocide and the Propaganda System 20 Years Later by Edward Herman and David Peterson

2. Rwanda 1994: The Myth of the Akazu Genocide Conspiracy and its Consequences by Barrie Collins, published by Palgrave Macmillan

3. Justice Belied: The Unbalanced Scales of International Criminal Justice, edited by Sebastien Chartrand and ICTR Defense Attorney John Philpot, Baraka Books.
