The older archives (>10 years old) have been substantially recovered -- more than 23,800 files' worth -- and are now reachable through the search engine and via file download. Email here if you have any questions.
Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

Lights OUT, seekers! Through the velvet darkness, in the midnight hour, in that darkest dark before dawn, Doc and Bugsy plumb the mysteries of that universally experienced state of suspended light: the NIGHT. The Doktors throw a million-candlepower spotlight on the effects of negative brain stimulus as they tickle your rods, *twup* your cones, and otherwise reset your circadian rhythms to something more dissyncopated. The treatment includes Tedman's cover of the Kiss anthem "King of the Night Time," Tom Waits, Scott Chapin, Invisible Touch, Deerhoof, the Misfits, the Cowboy Junkies, Hendrix, Perry & Kingsley, the Cockroaches, Jack Kerouac & Steve Allen, Hank Williams, John Cale, Faith No More, Fugazi, Sun Ra...and a dramatic reading of the immortal ode "(Feel the Beat of the) Rhythm of the Night" by DeBarge. It's enough to scare that ghostly monster legcatcher under your bed into swearing off ankle grabbing forever.
