The Democratic Republic of the Congo has mineral wealth estimated at $24 trillion. The country has been invaded twice by Rwanda and Uganda with the tactic approval of the United States. Human Rights Watch reported this year that Rwandan army officials are now supporting a mutiny in the eastern regions of DR Congo.
