Breaking news - Leon Mugasera is being deported from Canada. The Taylor Report has followed the story of this Montreal resident, and the attempt by the Harper government to deport him to his native Rwanda where he is likely to face torture and death. Listeners are also urged to sign onto former US Attorney-General Ramsey Clark’s petition at the International Action Centre to stop the US government from attacking Iran.

Later, in an interesting contrast to Rob Ford's policies towards libraries, Phil recounts an intriguing bit of Toronto history in which U.S. Admiral Chancey returned books belonging to the Toronto Public Library that were stolen by his invading troops during the War of 1812. Will we ever see a re-enactment?

Then, Zafar Bangash joins the program, having recently toured the Middle East. Zafar investigates the topics our media does not focus on, including the foreign sources of the moves for regime change in Syria.
