Linn Cohen-Cole describes how big agribusiness are gaining control over our food system. In the name of food safety or traceability, legislation is being pushed that pose great obstacles to sustainable farmers, including pricing them out of business. Michael Pollan sums this up by saying that progressive legislators are wanting to apply greater industrialization to an industrial system that failed because it is industrial already. He is very clear that this is going to destroy our small farms
