Chris Youett is doing another of his annual talks in the Bristol area on railway history next Saturday, this time looking at the amalgamation of railway companies in the run-up to World War Two. Chris will be showing some unique colour slides hes dug out, including some taken in the Bristol area of pre-war railways and will be explaining what was going on in the late 1930s as Britain was preparing to fight World War Two, a war in which the railways were about to play an important part.
