Sid Ryan, author of "A Grander Vision, My Life in the Labour Movement"
 Anonymous  Contact Contributor

Reading the life of Sid Ryan, "outspoken Irish expat," is to experience the highs and lows of the modern Canadian labour movement--Sid has been in on and often initiated much of the action and most of the good.

Remember his leading the OFL in the fight known by the slogan: "Kill a worker, go to jail." Sid's story is to show how it's done, from raising minimum wage in Ontario to solidarity with Palestine and Venezuela.

The book is a short course.
