From GERMANY- In the past 2 years Google has been fined over 8 billion euros by the EU. The German government has not spent the levels of money supporting military operations as demanded by the US- the US Ambassador to Germany, Richard Grinnell, has infuriated the German government with his demands. A year ago German chemical company Bayer acquired Monsanto, producer of the herbicide Roundup, which has been found liable for causing cancer in a second US trial. Brazilian president Bolsanaro met with Trump at the White House, exchanging football jerseys and agreeing on a desire to oust president Maduro from Venezuela.
From CUBA- Since the 90s, the US has wanted to build a space launch base in NE Brazil, but was blocked by fears in the Brazilian congress- plans for a new agreement, including a base for terrestrial forces, are being developed now. Venezuelan sovereign embassies in the US have been forcibly seized by US agents for self-appointed interim leader Juan Guiado, a violation of several international laws. Cuban president Diaz-Canal took exception to retired US General Anthony Tatter saying on television that if shooting Maduro in the head is necessary to accomplish regime change in Venezuela, then the US should do it. Bolivian President Evo Morales has called on European and Latin American leaders to confront the far-right attacks against sovereign countries, including Venezuela, and with Greece will hold a leftist forum in Bolivia.
From RUSSIA- Afshin Rattansi interviewed acclaimed Slovenian philosopher Slovoj Zizek. This discuss Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning, what freedom in America means in the current digital era, the Democratic Party, and that fake news is not new. He also says that the refugee crisis must be solved at its root to control the rise of right-wing populism.
